The LWML focuses on affirming each woman
in her relationship with Christ to enable her to be in ministry
among the people of the world. For over 60 years the organization
has been encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian
lives in active mission ministries and to financially support
global missions.
LWML General Meeting was held on January 22nd. The Lord had
blessed LWML to have raised over $3,000 for missions from the
Fall Bazaar, December bake sale, and the fall Rummage Sale.
The amount was split between LWML, church projects(curtains
for sacristy, table dollies, bookshelf, kitchen supplies, and
savings for other church needs), local missions(Christmas Box
House, St. Paul Youth Group, Birthright, and the Utah Food Bank),
other missions(supporting member-students who are going into
church work).
The LWML is full of ways to serve! Consider joining us for one
of our monthly circle meetings. The next meeting is in May.
Mary Circle:
Mary Circle has changed
their meeting time to the Second Thursday of each month
from 11:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m. in the LWML room. Our mission
is helping the St. Paul Kindergarten class this month.
Elizabeth
Circle:
Elizabeth Circle will
meet Tuesday, March 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Jeannie
Barrette.
Naomi Circle:
Naomi Circle will be
meeting on Tuesday, March 7 at 10:00 a.m.
